Just watched this

So what would you tell yourself if you could go back 10 years ?

Momma Tea

  1. Oh my gosh, so many things! First of all, I would tell myself not to put things off, to put myself first and not worry about what others think. Most importantly, I would tell myself to get myself back into graduate school. I always wanted to be an Art Therapist and work with kids, but for a variety of reasons I never pursued it ...other things always got in the way, people talked me out of it, etc. So mostly, I would just tell myself to DO IT before it is too late.

Pip says he doesn't really have any regrets! If only we humans could feel that way!

  2. What a good question. 10 years ago I would have been 15 (almost 16). I think the biggest thing I would tell myself is not to waste my time worrying about, crying about, etc that boy because a truly amazing man would come into my life and make everything great. I would also tell myself that the small things really are the small things and the tough things will just make you stronger. I would say that you'd be surprised who your friends will be in 10 years and who will have disappeared from your life. I would also say to love your family with all your heart because they are the ones who will always be here. :)Mostly, I'd tell myself that your life will be tough, but turn out just fine... so don't sweat it! lol

  3. Wow,
Ten years ago our kids would have been 1,4, and 5. I would have still been working, and all of us would be constantly on the run.

I would tell myself that if the laundry didn't get put away, the dishwasher didn't get emptied, or the house wasn't spotless, the world wasn't coming to an end. I would have managed finances better. Tried my darndest to be more patient and not expect our awesome children to be anything more or less than they could. Spend as much time with my parents/grandparents because you never appreciate what you have until it's gone.

THINGS I WOULD DO ALL OVER.... Singing their own song every night when tucking my kids in. Making forts inside the house with every blanket that could be found, Snuggling, Letting the kids give you a complete make-over and not laughing out loud at the end result, Not saying "you're too old" when kids take turns sleeping with me while Dad's out of town and Thanking the Good Lord above for blessing me with such an awesome family when for the longest time I didn't think it was possible.
