Sad People

I  have come to the conclusion that there are some very sad, twisted, nasty people in the world, who feel the need to go out of their way to deliberately hurt others. What the heck is the point of it all ? What does it actually achieve apart from making others dislike you.

There has been a spate of nasty comments on blogs recently and there is no need for it, if you do not like or do not agree with something you read then move on to a different blog. There is no  need to leave spiteful comments. There is one lovely doggy blog I read that is tongue in cheek and full of fun and kool-aid and recently there was a particularly nasty comment for which there was no need what so ever. This blog has my full support, it always has and always will. It is written from the special dogs view and that dog is one of the sweetest, most caring, most fun loving doglets in the world and everyone in my home adores her, ( I know you all know who I am on about…..LOL).

Us doggy bloggers are there for each other no matter what we are going through, we care and support each other through rough times and laugh with each other at the fun, silly times. I know I could not have got through the last few months without all of the wonderful doggy bloggers and dogs support and for that I thank you all very much. Long may we continue to be there for each other.

30 Day Blog – Day 4

My Favourite Book !

There is only one it can be, When I was small my Dad read to me very much and he read me the first book in this set and I was hooked and I have read every one of them every year since I was about eight. Thankfully I was an advanced reader at a very young age which is probably my one shining academic achievement. Both my parents instilled a love of reading into me that has not decreased to this day and I can still escape the trials and tribulations that beset real life by sticking my nose into a book and departing on a flight of imagination carried along by the words someone else has written.

Well I suppose I should tell you the book is The Lord Of The Rings. After my Dad took me along on the adventures of Bilbo and his merry band, getting the best of trolls and dragons and his winning the prize from poor old Gollom I was hooked. To move on to Frodo and my favourite character steadfast Samwise I have never looked back. I named my first dog after Samwise what better name for a true and loyal companion and he was everything that dear little Samwise was and more besides.

I never get bored re reading the tales as my imagination takes different paths with every reading and I find my own imagination has far more powerful and more beautiful imagery than any film maker can produce ( not that I didn’t love the movies I because I did and still do ) which is why I prefer to read books before seeing any movie that way if a film is disappointing it won’t put me off reading the book.

Hot & Heated

Well afternoon all, it has certainly heated up here now and it is making us all hot, sticky and a bit grumpy. Typical of us Brits though we moan when it rains and we moan when the weather is good… go figure. Well I have had to pop out today and Momo has had a nice peaceful couple of hours on her own just chillin on her cooling mat with the fan blowin and one of her crunchy frozen treats to she had a nice time. Me on the other hand has had a moan at the bank teller and told her I will be closing my account…… all because of their stupid new rules. You can only withdraw £100 ( $150 ) or more over the counter as that cuts queues. Like stink does it as there were so many people complaining the queues were longer than ever. I said it was all well and good but I wanted an odd £5 in my cash & the ATM does not dish out fivers so I was told to use a different banks ATM…………. is it me or is that just plain dumb? I never get more than £100 in this account says I to the teller…… Well it looks like you are only going to use ATM machines then says she……. great customer service says I as I turn and walk out.

Apart from that the trip was not too bad I got Momo her fav venison sausages and some natural yoghurt and some very cute spotty butterfly barrettes ( getting the hang of UK/USA multi expressions now ) and can’t wait to get some photos of her now. But will have to wait until her icky eyes are better bless her they are starting to bother her more now and add to that her front paw nibbling but she is seeing her nice new Dr tomorrow so hopefully he will sort her out and ease it all for her. She is such a little poppit* ( *angel, sweetie, honey-bun ) she never moans or whinges. She is an inspiration and certainly shames me when I sit and feel sorry for myself. Her hair is growing in thick and fast now and although I am so pleased about it I am kind of sad too as I love how soft her skin is and how lovely she feels with her baldie bits ( silly thing that I am ) but as we both seem to be becoming less follically challenged together it is still way cool.

Anyway that’s about from here as we are waiting for Penny to get here ( Penny is Mollys Aunty Wilma ) and as Molly gets very excited when she arrives I had better close.
